This is a nice place in the District of Alleppey surrounded by Vembanad Lake, but most business is with Kochi. It is connected with Kochi by Road and Water. Only 25 Km away from Ernakulam south railway station. There are many number of city bus service from Kakkanad- Poochakkal, High court- Poochakkal, Thoppumpady-Poochakkal,and many other buses pass thro' this Place.
Eventhough Poochakkal is not a Village Or Panchayat, It is a town joining two villages together, the Thycattussery and Panavally.
These villages are separated by Poochakkal Thodu (Canal) and brought together by Poochakkal Bridge. It has got a famous Market Two Nationalised Banks,SUB Treasury, Post Office, Police Station, Petrol bunk, three Higher Secondary Schools, One teacher training school and Temples, church and Mosque.While most credit institutions payday loans credits with extremely cautious. |
