Trikkur is one of those villages still to be raped by modern culture. Yes we have lot of concrete houses, but the pristene beauty of the village is thankfully kept up by the villagers.The Siva temple atop the hillock is considerd to be more than 1000 years old and is a proted monument unser Acheological Survey of India.Trikkur has produced famous personalities and most renowned one being Swamy Ranganadanda.Singing sensations Jyotsna and Anup Shankar has Trikkur origins. Once abode of more than 60 huge Brahmin famalies the village has now changed to mutlti religious and multi cultral place with all people living in harmony.
A look from the top of the hill will describe why Kerala is the God's Only Own Country.
