| A small and peaceful area situated one kilometer south to Monippally Town.
St. Thomas Church, St. Thomas LP School and Nursery School are located near the Junction. The two convents, Rose Bhavan and Anns Bhavan and health centers Deva Daya Hospital And Primary Health Cetntre are not very far from Cheenkallel Junction.
The people here have sizable Christian population, the Syrian Christian community. Most of them involved in agriculture, mainly rubber, cocoa, and other seasonal crops.

| | Monippally is located in between Kuravilangad and Koothattukulam in MC Road. This village belongs to Uzhavoor Panchayat of Meenachil (Pala) Taluk in Kottayam District. Main bus roots are MC Road, Pala - Ernakulam and Vaikom - Thodupuzha. Uzhavoor,Veliyannoor, Koothattukulam, Elanji, Njeezhoor and Kuravilangad are the neighboring areas.
