| Desam | Desam is a very beautiful village situated on the banks of river Periyaar. This is very much near to Sivarathri Manalppuram.
The Shastha temple in Desam is unque because it is the only Ayyappa temple in which marriages can be conducted. In this temple Shastha is present with his two wives; Poorna and Pushkala.
The famous Malayalam actor Dilip belongs to Desam. |
