Maida Dosa recipe
An easy dish when guests arrive unexpectedly. Although a snack, it can be had for breakfast and tiffin box.
Ingredients for Maida Dosa recipe
Maida/flour - 2cups
Sugar - 2tbsp
Egg - 1
Salt - a pinch
Scraped coconut - 1 cup
Powdered Jaggery - 1 cup.
How to make Maida Dosa?
Beat the egg. Add sugar and continue beating. Add the salt and maida and mix well. Add water and make a smooth batter. Make sure there are no lumps. Keep aside for 10 minutes. On a hot girdle, smear a little vegetable oil. Pour the batter and make the dosas. Mix the scraped coconut and jaggery. Take one dosa at a time, spread the filling mixture and fold. Place it on the plates. Serve hot.
Once the dosas are ready, you can have it with a hot pickle. No need of the filling.
You can use sugar instead of jaggerry.
If you do not have the patience to fill, add the filling mixture to the batter and make the dosas.
